At Global Vision Achiever Kenya, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to dream, learn, and thrive. We tackle poverty in our communities through focused programmes that address the root causes while providing immediate relief to those in need. Our comprehensive approach combines education, artistic expression, basic needs support, and community empowerment to create lasting change. The journey to end poverty for good begins with empowering a child, supporting a family, and strengthening a community. Through our work in Kenya's most vulnerable slum communities, we've learned that sustainable change happens when we work alongside residents to build solutions that honor their strengths, address their challenges, and create pathways to self-reliance.

We are a youth-led, community-rooted organization. Our solutions come from the people who understand the challenges firsthand — the residents of Kibera, Mathare, Huruma, and beyond. Poverty in Kenya’s urban slums is not just about lack of money — it’s about broken systems, limited opportunities, and generational inequality. Families struggle with food insecurity, unsafe housing, and limited access to healthcare and education. Your support allows us to offer holistic solutions — from nutrition and emergency relief to youth mentorship, talent development, and education for teen mothers.
Our Programs
At GVA, we empower youth in Kibera through peer-to-peer training, helping them become leaders and change-makers in their communities. Our programs focus on leadership, project management, public speaking, and civic engagement. Young people lead real community projects, solve local challenges, and build confidence while inspiring one another. This is youth leading youth—creating impact from the ground up.
During times of crisis such as fire outbreaks, COVID-19, and other disasters, Global Vision Achievers (GVA) steps in to support affected families in Kibera with urgent food donations and essential supplies. Our goal is to provide relief, restore hope, and ensure that no one is left behind in moments of emergency. Through community-driven response, we stand with residents when they need it most.
Global Vision Achievers (GVA) is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Our program supports primary and secondary school students in Kibera by providing school fees, learning materials, and mentorship. We believe every child deserves a chance to learn, grow, and build a better future.
Through projects like MAMITO, Global Vision Achievers (GVA) equips youth and women in Kibera with practical skills in areas like tailoring, entrepreneurship, and digital literacy. These programs empower participants to become self-reliant, start small businesses, and uplift their communities through skills that create lasting impact.
